The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth & infant mortality. The money goes to lifesaving research, services, education & advocacy that help babies get a healthy start. Here’s the secure link to my personal page where you can make your tax deductible donation: http://www.marchforbabies.org/Jessica_Taroc
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO MAY NOT KNOW, my Joshua was delivered via emergency c-section when I was only in my 7th month. I had a great pregnancy, but unexplainably developed a condition which put both Joshua & I at risk of losing our lives, so he had to be taken out. We were lucky though – all things considered, he was actually fine (despite all the wires which were for monitoring), he was mostly just small (2 lbs, 13 oz!) & needed time to grow. Since having Joshua (now 8!), I have donated to The March of Dimes every year. 3 years ago I decided to be a bit more involved and actually walk & also raise funds in honor of my Joshua. Once again, this year I will be walking (along with my Joshua!) and am asking my family & friends to support us and most importantly this cause with a donation. Of course anyone who wants to walk with us is welcomed to do so!
The March of Dimes had actually changed the name of its biggest event to March for Babies. It’s a great change because it makes it very clear exactly who I am walking for — all babies! WHATEVER YOU CAN GIVE – IT ALL ADDS UP! WE WERE ALL BABIES ONCE SO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT!
This person is a good friend of mine and she is walking for a GREAT Cause… If you visit this site and have any desire to donate, please do so… Thank you!
