Robbins Farm Park – Bring The Slides Back Fundraiser!

Robbins Farm Park is host to many events throughout the year, bringing joy to the community.  In 2008 the park enjoyed a 10 year anniversary, celebrating the years of enjoyment given to both adults and children.

A group of residents in Arlington came together in 1998 to make sure that Robbins Farm Park would remain an attraction in the town. Through funding the community hoped to maintain the park for future generations to experience the  incredible views of Boston, playgrounds and fields.

Recently the slides were removed from the park and the community is raising funds to ensure that they are replaced.  The slides were the pride of the park, loved by the children who visited this playground for their sheer fun.  There is a plan to raise funds and if you want to make a donation, click on the image above to be directed to the donation site.

In addition to the fun experienced by the children; the park hosts Shakespeare in the Park, movies in the evening and I had the pleasure of watching the 4th of July celebration on the big screen…  If you have enjoyed the park, take a moment to visit the “Robbins Farm Park” site and offer your support.  If you choose to become a member of the “Friends of Robbins Farm Park”, there is a small membership fee in one and three year increments.  As a member you can volunteer to help at events, showing further support in the community.

Thank you for reading this brief blog… The park is a great place to visit with your family and I hope to see you there!
